First time in Tokyo?

Omotesando is the neighborhood that you have to visit obligatorily if you want to find the best luxury brands shops. In this bustling neighborhood of Tokyo, avant-garde architecture is mixed with luxury fashion. It is essential to go through the Vuitton building of Jun Aoki or the Prada building made by Herzog & De Meuron. The founders of this study, Jacques Herzog and Pierre De Meuron, won the Pritzker Architecture Prize in 2001.

Our route starts at the Alexander Wang store, and almost in a straight line, it runs approximately one kilometer until it finishes at the Channel and Dior stores.

Omotesando is one of the longest avenues in Tokyo, with boulevards and groves to the sides, which, saving the distances, could remember the Champs Élysées of which we have already spoken.

We started at the Alexander Wang luxury store (which before having his own signature, was three years creative director of Balenciaga), on a street parallel to the bustling Omotesando.

We continue towards the end of the street and if we turn left we will find the Dolce & Gabanna store, but if we turn right, on the corner with Omotesando, we will find the wonderful Prada building, of which we have already spoken and just opposite, the store of the Italian firm Moncler.

From now on, we continue towards the metro station “Meiji-jingumae” Harajuku “Sta.”.

On our tour we will find the luxury brands shops of  Stella McCartney, Miu Miu, Comme des Garçons, Issey Miyake, Alexander McQueen y Balenciaga.

At this point we have reached the middle of our journey, the crossing between Omotesando and Aoyama Dori. We still have the best!

Once past the junction, Omotesando becomes a boulevard, with wide sidewalks and trees on both sides of the street.

In this part of the tour, we can visit the shops of Loewe, Givenchy, Céline, Gucci, Fendi, Armani, Hugo Boss, Yves Saint Laurent, Michael Kors, Burberry, Louis Vuitton, Missioni, Harry Winston, Dior, Jimmy Choo, Chloé, Paul Stuart, Valentino, Dolce&GabbanaBottega Veneta, Dior, Channel and finally, Ralph Lauren.

Distance Traveled: 1,25 km

Estimated time: 2 hours.

Finally, some small recommendations, when you go to prepare your trip, look for the best offer of flights to Tokyo , book your hotel with enough time and if you have problems with your flight, do not forget to claim.
